When your package arrives it will be sorted and anything the inmate can not have will either be sent back to you (at the inmates expense) or it will be destroyed.
As long as you follow the directive, whatever you send will make it to your loved one. They are very strict about colors of clothing and towels and the size of containers that you send... The packages do get to the inmates relatively quickly there.

Visiting hours are 8:30AM - 2:30PM on Saturday and Sunday. Your loved ones visiting day depends on the last number of his DIN number. For example if his number was 04A1234 his visit would be on the even date of the weekend, like Saturday May 14.
Inmates are allowed 3 visitors. If you call ahead and get permission they will allow more than 3 people.
During the warmer months you can choose to have an outside visit. There are 2 pavilions and tables outside of the pavilions. There is a sandbox and a little jungle gym for children. There are also quite a few toys in the sandbox for kids to play with.
The CO's will ask you when you enter the main visiting room if you want an inside visit or an outside visit.
ONCE YOU ARE OUTSIDE FOR YOUR VISIT YOU CAN NOT CHANGE IT TO AN INSIDE VISIT. ONCE YOU'RE OUT, YOU'RE OUT!
You will be at a picnic table and they WILL allow you to sit on the same side of the bench as your loved one. You can also get up and walk the perimeter of the visiting area. They will allow you to hold hands.
The inside visits are quite crowded and have extremely small tables.
The vending machines work well and are constantly being restocked.
Visiting hours are over promptly at 2:30 and they do not give you warning that the visit is going to be over.
